After the 2022 general election, Peter Kaluma was among the ODM politicians who strongly criticized President William Ruto and his government. The popular MP was a thorn in the flesh to Ruto but after the late Raila Odinga’s ‘handshake’ with the Head of State, many ODM politicians including Kaluma started supporting Ruto.
Peter Kaluma’s support to President William Ruto did not cease even after the death of Raila Odinga and today, he left Kenyans talking after he publicly told them who to vote for in the next general election.
Through his official X account, the Homabay Town MP told Kenyans that they have an easy choice to make in 2027 poll.
According to Kaluma, Kenyans should just wait for Rigathi Gachagua to pick his side then they should vote for the opposite side. The Law Maker maintained that not only should Gachagua be elected but the side that he supports should not be supported by Kenyans
Peter Kaluma said that as he was reacting to a video of Gachagua questioning the grade 10 placements.
