Kenya’s football scene continues to produce exciting talents, with Amos Wanjala, the captain of the national U-20 team (Harambee Stars U20), making a significant leap in his career.
The 19-year-old central defender has officially joined Spanish La Liga club Valencia CF on a two-year deal.
Wanjala, a former student of St. Anthony’s Boys High School in Kitale, was previously with Athletic Club Torrellano in Spain, where he honed his skills.
Valencia announced the transfer, confirming that he will initially integrate into their youth setup, VCF Mestalla (the reserve team), as he adapts to the demands of European football.
