Former U.S. President Donald Trump took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to celebrate the passage of what he called “THE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL” in the House of Representatives. Trump hailed the legislation as “arguably the most significant piece of Legislation that will ever be signed in the History of our Country.”
According to Trump, the bill includes sweeping provisions such as massive tax cuts, the elimination of taxes on tips and overtime pay, and tax deductions for Americans who purchase domestically made vehicles. It also introduces “TRUMP Savings Accounts” for newborn babies and allocates funding for the iconic Golden Dome.
On the security front, the bill strengthens border enforcement measures, provides pay raises for ICE and Border Patrol agents, and aims to fortify national immigration policies. Trump credited Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republican leadership for pushing the bill through and expressed gratitude to every GOP member who voted in favor.
Trump also used the moment to sharply criticize Democrats, accusing them of being directionless and disconnected from the will of the American people. He claimed they are “warped in the past” and obsessed with progressive causes like open borders, transgender rights, and gender identity in sports — policies he vowed would “NEVER AGAIN happen.”
Trump called on the U.S. Senate to act swiftly, urging lawmakers to pass the bill and send it to his desk without delay. “There is no time to waste,” he wrote.
While the bill’s future in the Democrat-controlled Senate remains uncertain, Trump’s statement signals a renewed push to define the Republican legislative agenda as the 2024 election season heats up.
