Today, Nyutu caused plenty of reactions in the country as he sharply questioned claims about DCP.
In a viral clip shared by @ntvkenya through their officialXaccount, Nyutu challenged assertions that DCP is bankrupt or liquidated, asking pointedly in Kiswahili: “Chama cha DCP kina deni la nani ndio mseme chama kimefilisika?” (Which debt does the DCP party have that makes you say the party is bankrupt?).
His remarks come amid ongoing political turbulence surrounding DCP, led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Recent reports highlight internal rifts, member exits, and speculation about the party’s financial health and future viability ahead of the 2027 elections.
