U.S. Representative Nancy Mace has intensified scrutiny of billionaire Bill Gates’ connections to the late convicted sɛx offender Jeffrey Epstein, demanding that he be subpoenaed to testify under oath before the House Oversight Committee.
Through her official X account, Mace announced she sent a letter to Committee Chairman James Comer requesting the subpoena. The demand stems from newly released Department of Justice documents—part of a massive 3-million-page disclosure related to Epstein—containing disturbing allegations about Gates’ behavior.
These include claims from Epstein’s 2013 draft emails that Gates sought assistance in procuring STI medication after alleged encounters with “Russian girls” and attempted to secretly administer it to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates, without her knowledge.
Mace highlighted Melinda Gates’ recent public statements, where she expressed that her ex-husband “needs to answer” for the alleged conduct in these files, describing painful memories from their marriage.
The congresswoman emphasized accountability, stating, “Nobody is above the law. Not billionaires, not anyone.”

The push follows the DOJ’s release of Epstein-related materials, which have renewed focus on high-profile figures linked to the financier. Oversight Chairman Comer has indicated a subpoena for Gates is “highly likely” if he does not cooperate voluntarily.
Gates has denied the allegations, calling them false and regretting any association with Epstein. The call reflects broader congressional efforts to probe Epstein’s network for transparency and justice.
