After Raia Odinga running for Presidency in the 2022 general election, many Kenyans believed that it would be the last year Baba was contesting.
Additionally, William Ruto had vowed to take the late hero to Bondo permanently after that hotly contested general election but surprisingly, Raila remained actively in politicly even after losing the Presidential seat until when he met his death.
Well, while that is the case, today Kenyans were left perplexed after waking up to latest allegations from Junet Mohamed.Â
As reported by the Daily Nation, Junet who was a close ally of the late former ODM party leader claimed that still, Baba was intending to vie for Presidency in the next general election.Â
The popular MP maintained that Raila Odinga never believed that there is a strong candidate who can beat Ruto in 2027 and thus, he was warming up to unseat the Head of State.
If what Junet said is true, then it means that Baba’s headshake with Ruto would not have gone beyond 2027 but instead, the two top leaders would be facing each other again in a tight contest.
