“Just Leave Me Alone” Sifuna’s Cryptic Message To Raila That Has Left Kenyans Talking
Orange Democratic Movement Party Secretary General and Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuna has distanced himself from ongoing efforts to review the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Orange Democratic Movement and President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance.

Speaking during a live interview on Citizen TV, he said that he firmly declined to take part in the initiative in a recent internal meeting where the proposal to form a review team was tabled.
According to Senator Sifuna, his position remains unchanged—he considers the MOU between ODM and UDA politically defunct.
His remarks signal deepening cracks within ODM ranks over the viability and future of the agreement, which had been billed as a strategic partnership for national unity and development coordination.
The MOU, signed earlier in the year, aimed to foster bipartisan collaboration in key areas such as governance, electoral reforms, and economic development.
However, growing tensions and mistrust have raised questions about its sustainability.Senator Sifuna’s rejection of involvement in the review process underscores his hardline stance and reflects the broader political unease within ODM over continued cooperation with President William Ruto’s UDA party.Link
